Usage Information
Application
Novacort should be applied as a thin film three to four times daily (depending on the severity of the condition) in accordance with physician's directions.
Occlusive dressings may be used for the management of psoriasis or recalcitrant conditions.
Use with occlusive dressings or diapers should be only under physician supervision.
If an infection develops, the use of occlusive dressings should be discontinued and appropriate anti-microbial therapy instituted (such asAlcortin®).

For the relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses

Novacort is generally prescribed as "Novacort 1 Tube (29g) - Apply as a thin film 3-4 times daily."
